I asked my girlfriend what kind of ring she wanted me to propose with and she told me to surprise her. Her only stipulation was that she didn’t want a diamond which I was ok with because it meant that I could find a cooler design. She’s not really into jewelry so I really wanted to find her something unique. And with the exclusion of diamond, I had to find something with colored stones. Through a friend, I found out about Azeera. She said it was a great place for colored stone rings that were affordable too. While browsing through the site, I found the engagement rings to be out of my budget but the designs in the everyday section were much cheaper. A ring is a ring to me so I decided to find something there. My girlfriend is studying to be a botanist and the pallava ring was perfect for her. The size of the stones didn’t matter to me and it was exactly in my budget. I designed her ring with pink tourmaline in the center and peridot around it. The ring came less than 2 weeks after I ordered it. I was a little disappointed because the peridot didn’t exactly match the image on the website. I spoke with customer service and they said the color difference could be because the difference with my screen. They still offered to give me a full refund and also suggested that I present the ring to her and return it if she doesn’t like it. They would honor the refund policy outside the 30-day window. So I decided to give that a shot. I could always redesign it with my girlfriend present so she could pick out exactly what she wanted. It turns out, she loved the ring anyway. The color of the peridot reminded of one of her favorite plants and everything worked out in the end for us. Thanks Azeera!
