This is a great way to find unique gifts. I love this site. The designs are all a little different and so are the gems. I don't have to look hard to find a ring that works for someone in my family. I made the Art Deco Daiva Ring in pink tourmaline, diamodns and white gold for my mom and she loved it. I'm thinking about making the Roha ring for my sister.

I recently got a promotion at work so I wanted to treat myself to something special. All the girls at he office have a tradition to buy themselves something nice to show off whenever one of us gets a raise. It’s a tacky and superficial expression, but we’re all young, single, independent women without much holding us back. Most of the girls buy shoes or bags, but I wanted something different. Something to stand out. Not too many people wear jewelry around the office, but I think it’s because they don’t understand much beyond diamonds. My grandmother loved gems and I acquired her tastes as she gave me small pieces of jewelry for my birthdays. I’ve always liked tourmalines. I have a pair of green tourmaline studs that I wanted to match, but I couldn’t find that stone on this site so I settled with pink. I’m ok with that. This ring is gorgeous. The center stone has so much color and life. And the design is unique and I love the way it looks on my finger. Hopefully my next promotion comes soon so I can get another ring for my other hand!
