About AZEERA

How is AZEERA different from other retailers?

Our pieces are more than a collection minerals and metals molded together. Each gem, individually cut, carries the skill of knowledge of the craftsmen perfected over decades. Each design, meticulously planned, is inspired by the opinions of other consumers, just like you.

Azeera gems are ethically sourced with confidence. We buy rough gemstones directly from trusted sources and craft each piece of jewelry ourselves. With fewer hands exchanging gems, we save on costs, and in turn are able to provide you more value for the same price.

Every design comes in range of metals and stones giving you endless possibilities. Not only can you create a piece exactly to your liking and in your budget, but it will also be one of a kind. All our models are created upon your order and only for you.

We understand and respect that diamonds dominate the jewelry industry. And we also cannot imagine a world without diamonds. But we live for colored stones and we live to share colored stones with the world.

How are Azeera's gemstones different from other retailers?

At Azeera, our gemstones are a point of pride for us. In Sanskrit, Azeera means ‘fire,’ referring the brilliance you see inside a gem. Every gemstone, from the largest carat that can weigh down a finger to those seen best with a microscope, must meet our standards. Each stone is AAA Quality, with only about 15% of the original stone kept in place to give an ideal cut, clarity and color.

Our trademark cutting process has been refined over the course of several decades to capture that natural fire burning inside each stone and forge stunning pieces of art. Every Azeera gem embraces the skill of the craftsman and radiates the natural emotion and energy of nature.

Bringing out each stone’s natural beauty, from the deep ocean blues of a sapphire to the brilliant and rainbow of color held within a white diamond, our jewelry holds an exquisite luster. That is why our gemstones, more than any other, truly are a cut above the rest.

How long have you been in the jewelry business?

Azeera was founded in 2014. While the company can be considered a “start-up,” the Azeera founders are of product of two well-established family businesses with over 50 years of support and knowledge.

Where is your jewelry made?

From casting to setting, each piece is crafted with care at our facilities here in New York.

Where are your stones cut?

All of our stones are cut either in India within our workshop or are cut by our suppliers. For those stones that we cut ourselves, our workshop is focused on enhancing the color and brilliance of every gemstone we sell. Each and every stone goes through many steps and inspections. We take pride in the cut and consistency of our gemstones.

Do you have a retail store front?

Currently, we are focused on our e-commerce site and do not have a physical retail store. We want everyone to enjoy the fire in our gems regardless of their location. All of our available collections can be found on this website.

Why should I create an account?

Creating an account will allow you to be the first to know about our new styles. We also send out discounts among many other benefits to our account holders.

About AZEERA JEWLRY

Does you jewelry come with a warranty?

At Azeera, we use the highest quality materials to manufacture our jewelry and we stand by this. Each piece comes with a lifetime warranty, which covers the quality of our workmanship excluding normal wear and tear. The warranty does not cover the cut or quality of the diamond or gemstone, any breaks, scratches, chips or blemishes of the diamonds or gemstones. The warranty is also void if you damage or alter the piece, or if another jeweler resizes or modifies the piece. In addition to this, we are happy to service your piece at our cost. Servicing includes prong tightening, stone replacing, re-polishing, rhodium plating and cleaning services. Shipping charges will apply. Contact us for more information.

Can I commission a custom design?

You may submit requests for custom designs. We require you to complete a form verifying that ownership of the design. We will not produce designs that infringe on any intellectual property. After the request is processed, we will submit renderings for approval and production. Please note that custom rings are nonrefundable.

Can I get my jewelry engraved?

Yes. When checking out your piece, you will have the option to include a message of our choice at no additional cost.

What kind of box will the jewelry come with?

All our pieces will be present in exquisite custom made jewelry boxes.

Do you have other options for boxes and packaging?

If you have any special requests, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Do you offer discounts?

We offer most of our promotions and discounts through the Azeera newsletter.

Do you match pricing if the item I purchased goes down in price?

All sales are final. Precious metal and gem prices fluctuate with the global economy. We try to adjust our prices accordingly and cannot guarantee any prices.

Do you offer appraisals on your jewelry?

You can find the option to appraise your piece at check out.

What if my ring doesn’t fit?

Prior to finalizing your purchase, we encourage you to request our free ring sizing tool that will be shipped to you at no charge. We also allow you to send your ring back to us to be re-sized at no charge. for more information try our ring-sizing tool.

Can you re-size rings?

Yes, we offer one free re-sizing per item. Please email us or contact us if you would like to proceed with re-sizing your piece. Please note that we will not re-size a ring if has been altered intentionally or unintentionally outside it’s original condition.

Can I order a piece with a different shaped center stone?

Currently all of our jewelry is designed for that particular setting. We believe that having an option to change the center stone shape may take away from its beauty.

Can I buy a ring without the stones?

No, we do not offer unset mountings.

What kind of metals do you use?

We only use high quality recycled metal.

Do you buy jewelry?

No, we do not provide this service.

What if I don’t know my ring size?

We encourage you to look at ring size chart and/or request our ring-sizing tool that will be shipped to you free of no charge. Order your ring-sizing tool

Do you gift-wrap?

All of our jewelry comes in gift packaging, so it is ready to give to a loved one. If you would like additional affects such as wrapping paper, please make a note at checkout or contact us.

Why your gemstones over others?

In Sanskrit, Azeera means ‘fire,’ referring to the brilliance you see inside a gem. Each of our gemstones captures this fire through skill and passion of our artisans. Every Azeera gem, small and large, is carefully crafted to maximize color, cut, and clarity and radiate elegance.

How are your gemstones priced?

We are able to provide you fair prices for quality pieces. There's no middle man in our business model as we source and cut many of the gems ourselves. Because of this, we can offer you amazing and competitive prices.

What is the quality of your colored-gemstones?

Our colored gemstones are “bridal quality”. We do our best to select gemstones that are eye clean and nothing short of AAA in quality. Due to natural formation patterns, rubies and emeralds may have minor eye visible inclusions, but in most other cases, your gems will be eye clean. Learn more about gemstones.

What is your diamond quality?

Our diamonds are “bridal quality”. Every diamond we mount into your jewelry is eye clean, with a minimum clarity of SI2, and a minimum color of an H. The majority of our fancy shape diamonds are VS in clarity and H color or better. You will be provided an industry accepted lab certificate for every diamond that weighs over 0.40 carats. Are your gemstones enhanced?

The term natural implies that a gem was formed in naturally in earth without any treatments. All our gemstones are products of mother nature and not lab created. Some of these varieties though are always enhanced, such as sapphire, ruby, emerald, amethyst, swisss blue topaz, black onyx, citrine, pink tourmaline.

Enhancements, or treatments, are done to bring out the stone’s full potential. Gemstones are often found partially developed when they are mined from the earth. We use only industry accepted treatments, such heating and oiling, to compete the natural formation process and bring out nature's true beauty in gemstones. For the case of emeralds, treatments also improve the stability and durability of the gem.

All our gems are crafted according to the AGTA and GIA accepted list of treatments. We do not carry stones with the treatments such as lead filling, surface diffusion, dyeing, or waxing. We also do not offer lab created synthetics or imitations gems.

Will the color of my gemstone be exactly like what I see?

Gemstones form in nature. And like all the things in nature, it is almost impossible to find two identical objects.

In your piece you may see a slight variation in color among your gemstones, but we carefully choose each and every gemstone individually to match with the set.

We would also like you to note that given the way color is spread across a gem stone, smaller sized gems tend to be slightly lighter in color compared the larger sizes. This is especially true for aquamarine, swiss blue topaz, and peridot.

Will you set my gemstones for me?

Unfortunately, we do not provide this service.

Can I buy a gemstone without the mounting?

Of course, please use our gem-store to purchase your Azeera Gem. Please see our Gemstone.

Are your gemstones ethically sourced?

We only deal with trusted sources, who are known for ethical sourcing.

Our gems are sourced ethically. We buy all our amethyst, aquamarine, black onyx, citrine, garnet, peridot, pink tourmaline, and swiss blue topaz straight from ethical mining sources all across the world and cut them ourselves. With rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and diamonds, we only use trusted and established sources. All of our stone sourcing is done through reputable suppliers, whom we have been working with for generations.

Where do you cut your gemstones?

We only deal with trusted sources, who are known for ethical sourcing.

We have a workshop in Jaipur, India.

Do you buy gemstones?

No, we only specialize in cutting gems to our standards.

Can I get a certificate for my gemstone?

Each non-diamond center stone comes with a certificate of quality. All individual diamonds worth $500 or more also come with industry accepted lab certificates.

Do you take special requests on color of the gemstones?

Unfortunately, this is a service we cannot provide at the moment. Please note, the color and quality gems we set into your personally crafted piece, will always be what we believe best compliments the mounting.

Shipping & Returns

How much does shipping cost?

Our standard 2-day shipping is free of charge.

When will I receive my jewelry?

You will have your Azeera jewelry in approximately 2 weeks from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, there is no way to expedite this. To give you a truly unique experience, we hold no inventory and all our products are made to order specially towards your preference. We take our time to make each piece perfect. You may track your order process using My Account.

Do you ship outside of the United States?

At the moment, we sell our pieces within the United States.

Do you ship to PO boxes?

We request a signature and address for pick up due to the value of our products, thus we cannot ship to P.O. boxes.

How do I return my purchase?
How long do I have to return a purchase?

Upon receiving the piece, you will have 30 days to return the purchase. If you have any questions or concerns, please visit our Return Policy or contact us

How long before I receive my refund?

Allow 5-7 business days for your refund to be processed. Each returned item must go through quality control before the return is accepted. For more information, please read entire return policy.

Do I have to pay return shipping and insurance?

We pay for your return shipping and insurance.

Do I have to be home to receive my package?

Yes, our packages require signatures to pick up.

Can I return a re-sized ring?

No, we do not accept re-sized rings.

Can I return engraved jewelry?

Yes, no problem at all.

How do I clean my ring?

We suggest scrubbing gently with a soft brush using warm soap and water. Given the properties of gems, we advise you seek professional help if you go beyond that.
